Uhrzeit:

The interdisciplinary “Systemic Risks Workshop 2023 – Concepts, Methods and Cross-cutting Issues” is dedicated to the comprehensive understanding of systemic risks (SR) and will bring together international scientists from fields such as system analysis, risk analysis, disaster risks, circular economy, climate change adaptation and more.

The workshop will take place at the Research Institute for Sustainability – Helmholtz Centre Potsdam, on the 29th and 30th of November 2023.

Systemic Risks Workshop 2023

What are the goals of the Workshop?

  1. Collaborate with participants to understand their methods and needs related to systemic risks, fostering idea generation for improved modeling and quantification.
  2. Identify pivotal topics within systemic risks and explore how participants methodically address them.
  3. Establish a coordinated SR community, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration with key contributors.

The workshop will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, focusing on the diverse approaches and methodologies employed in understanding and addressing SR. Participants will be able to share their experiences and knowledge and get direct and valuable feedback from peer researchers with interdisciplinary and diverse perspectives.

Why attend?
