Christopher Cassidy

Christopher Cassidy is a fellow and U.S. Fulbright Scholar at RIFS. His work focuses on international climate finance, just energy transitions, and industrial decarbonization. In particular, he studies the development of Just Energy Transition Partnerships (JETPs) with emerging economies.

Prior to joining RIFS, Christopher worked as a project assistant at the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center, a think tank based in Washington, D.C. He also completed internships at the U.S. Department of State, Office of Western Europe and U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources, Democratic Staff. Christopher graduated in International Affairs from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service. He is originally from Poughkeepsie, New York.
