Emilie Sani worked for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for over ten years, first in Paris in the area of migration, then in Berlin at the French Embassy, where she was responsible for communications and press. At the Foreign Office, she was also an exchange diplomat in the European Department for three years. She then worked on the management staff for the Federal Ministries of Finance (BMF) and Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Emilie Sani has also worked in the private sector, including for the Bertelsmann Group in the capital representative office as the person responsible for issues related to Brexit as well as digital topics.

As part of the Franco-German Future Work, Emilie Sani liaises with the governments of Germany and France and elected officials on global warming, economic and social resilience, and sustainable urban planning.

Emilie Sani is a graduate of the University of Nuremberg-Erlangen (Diplom-Volkswirtin) and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Strasbourg. She also studied at the College of Europe in Bruges.
