Since July 2024, Lorena Vega Garcia has been part of the Urban Air Quality, Mobility, and Health (AQMH) research group as a student assistant. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Climate, Earth, Water, and Sustainability (CLEWS) at the University of Potsdam, and she is also doing her master thesis with the AQMH research group. Her thesis integrates her research at AQMH with her previous experience at GIZ in developing policy. Lorena holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Engineering at the University of Oviedo, Spain, with a focus on analytical chemistry and instrumentation within the industrial analysis specialization. After completing her bachelor's degree, she worked as a research assistant in the fields of environmental and materials engineering.
